Emily MacDonald 

I’m a 2nd year fashion design student at UC. I did my first jump in 2009, and two years later, I have around 260 jumps (and counting!).  The UC Skydiving Club is an amazing way to participate in such an incredible sport, while also hanging out with awesome people like myself. We also take trips to various wind tunnels in places like North Carolina and Orlando. If you’ve ever had any interest in becoming a licensed skydiver, or just doing one jump, get in touch with the club, and we’ll make it happen!

Tyler Roemer

Lots of people like to ask “why would anyone WANT to skydive?” to which no words can answer accurately.  There is a part of our brain that controls feelings, and that has a funny way of not being able to accurately communicate with the section of the brain that processes language. Don’t believe me? Ask your significant other “Why do you like/love me?” and watch a herky jerky response.  That’s not that they don’t like/love you, it’s that it’s hard to put our deepest emotions into words.  So if you are asking why you should skydive, my only advice is to come try it and figure out why for yourself.

I’m a second year Fine Arts major at UC and took my first jump summer of 2010. Emily MacDonald wanted me to jump out of a plane for her birthday, so I did and now I love it! So far I have two tandems and have started my AFF jumps and want to get my license. Even if I’m not jumping I love all the fun, friendly people at the DZ!
