Welcome back to school, I hope you all had a fabulous break! It’s a new quarter so I encourage everyone to try to make meeting, especially if you haven’t been to any. Meetings will still be held every other Wednesday at 7:30pm in 3250 rec center classrooms on main campus. The first meeting of the quarter will be THIS Wednesday, January 11th. It should last no more than an hour. Afterwards we typically go to Catskellar so feel free to join

TRIPS!!
As many of you know, a few of the club members went to Florida for the Fall quarter trip and had a blast! We will be showing videos/pics and giving a brief summary of the trip at meeting. That being said, we are in the process of planning the winter trip to the IFLY Orlando Wind Tunnel (Indoor Skydiving Simulation). This is an excellent opportunity for many of you to improve your body flight skills and gain some freefall experience. The trip will be mostly paid for by UC, we will be requesting funding asap after we have the roster of attendees for the trip, which is why it is SUPER important you be at meeting to express interest in the trip. I know I already asked you guys to email/message me your info if you are interested, but everyone interested must be available the last weekend in February, 24-27 and able to pay a few things. The cost will be no more that $75 for our coaching fee, plus food/drinks, and if you would like to skydive when we visit a drop zone in Palatka, you will have to pay for your skydives. You MUST be available the afternoon of the 24th to early morning of the 27th for this trip. It is not a holiday or long weekend. You must also be financially set to pay your personal expenses. This is a great deal because your tunnel time will be covered by UC, which is $10 a minute! It adds up quickly so we are fortunate they pay the bulk of expenses.

Sweatshirts should be in by meeting so if you have not paid Tyler Roemer, you need to do so ASAP! He paid out of pocket for these suckers so please get payments to him. Email him at Roemertj@gmail.com and he will set it up for you.
